Jenny is a very lovely bitch who came to us in the summer of 2004, again from Quarterback Kennels. She is co-owned between Ed Lehner and myself.

As you can see from her pedigree, Jenny is very nicely line bred through the Tykabul stock. She holds much promise for producing quality offspring.

She fit in right away with Brogan, Annie and Morgie, making the house her domain. She was a very headstrong young lady, and it soon became apparent that I could not put her in the show ring when she turned 6 months.

The year Jenny came to me was my busiest time. I had a new baby, Amber and was showing Brogan, who is a half brother to Jenny. I had also just done a breeding, and was waiting for my second litter to be born.

At 1 year old, Jenny and I took a little obedience, at which she excelled. Our obedience trainer thought she would do very well if I were to do competition obedience with her.

She is very possessive of her toys and loves to try and get the ball when I play with Brogan. She gets very fixated on a ball.

She is now 2.5 years old. I have put her in a couple of shows, where she has won a Best of Opposite Sex and a Reserve Winners Female. Having watched her grow up, and come into her own, I believe Jenny was made for better things than obedience or confirmation. One day soon, I hope to try my hand, and hers, in the agility ring. For now, she is Amber's companion:

We were entered at the show in Arnprior for her one show a year to keep her intact this past weekend, May 12 & 13, and Jenny went Winners Bitch on the Sunday for her first point! I was so very pleased...

Jenny is a very good swimmer, but she doesn't really enjoy it. However, she does like to watch from the sidelines, especially if Amber is in the pool:

We were recently visiting Jenny's breeder, so I asked him to help me get some decent "posed" shots of her:

On the 5th of November 2007, in New Brunswick, Jenny whelped her first litter. 5 pups...3 boys and 2 girls.

May 23rd and 24th saw Jenny at the OKC show in Richmond for her one show a year. Handled by my friend, Brigitte Dubeau, Jenny did herself proud. She was very well behaved and made lots of new friends. She was a true breed ambassador that weekend.

A breeding is being planned this fall for our Jenny. Thanks to the stupid law banning Staffordshire Bull Terriers by the Fiberal Government of Ontario, the breeding will once again take place safely away from this province.

NOTE: If you live in Ontario, you cannot acquire a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. To help change this atrocious situation, please donate to the Legal Defence Fund at www.staffordcanada.com
